Tash and Joe’s wedding at The Oakwood at Ryther this past Saturday was such a standout day. The venue is genuinely one of the best around, and it was the perfect setting for a morning of prep, with Tash and her bridesmaids upstairs and Joe with his groomsmen downstairs. The ceremony in the barn was stunning, but the real star of the show was Joe’s son, who took on the role of the cutest ring bearer you’ve ever seen. Despite the weather being a bit hit-and-miss with the rain, we caught a break just long enough to head outside for family photos with those rolling fields as the backdrop.
What made this day so special were the personal nods to how they met at a sailing club. Joe was rocking boat cufflinks, there was a welcome sign mounted on an actual boat, and even the guest book was a wooden boat! It’s those little quirks that really make a wedding feel like "them." Luckily, the rain cleared just in time for golden hour, letting us get those iconic shots on the wooden walkway. After a fantastic choreographed first dance, the floor stayed packed all night. It was a total blast to capture a day so full of personality.
