I’m Gabriela, a 30-year-old, wife 💍, mum 👨👩👧, and wedding photographer 📸 from Yorkshire (Sheffield specifically) with South American roots.
I’m a pretty straightforward gal. I love my cats and dog and if I’m not shooting a wedding, or at my desk then I’m most likely chilling with my family, bingeing on Netflix, or planning my next business venture 👀.
I find pure joy in talking about my passions - which luckily for us both is photographing weddings! I LOVE getting to chat to you during our consultation calls, from the initial one when you’re riding high on excitement, hearing all about your plans, through to the final call when the nerves have kicked in a little - Getting to ride this journey with you is something that I will never take for granted.
I am a warm, friendly person, and meeting new people is without a doubt one of the greatest parts of what I do. The greatest compliment I can receive is when one of my couples tells me it was like having a friend with them on the day - fills this heart with joy.
On your wedding day, I’ll be there to fix your dress, adjust your bowtie, & most certainly pour you a glass of wine. I’m there for you every moment throughout the most special part of your life (yes, I’ll also see you on the dance floor!).
My favourite weddings are ones where the couple doesn’t realise how easy it is to feel comfortable behind the camera and are pleasantly surprised by how amazing they look. If you’re feeling anxious, I cannot recommend having a pre-wedding shoot highly enough.
I shot my first wedding at A Level for family friends and the passion ignited then. I then went off to Uni to study Film and TV production, and that’s where I met my husband. If you book a second shooter with me, you’ll have the pleasure of meeting him as he’s usually my right-hand man.
In 2019 I took the plunge and started photographing and videoing weddings full time. Never in a million years would I have predicted a worldwide pandemic putting a stop to that, but hey, 2020 was out to test all of us. Ever the businesswoman, I used this time to think outside the box and started photographing families on their doorsteps. It was also wonderful getting to spend more time with my daughter.

FAMILY VALUES ARE MY INSPIRATION
I grew up in Sheffield but moved around a lot as a child; living in Venezuela, Detroit, York and even Wolverhampton! I came to settle once again in Sheffield where I live with my husband, daughter, dog and two cats.
Moving around a lot has allowed me to really develop a love for photographs. There's something about capturing your love ones, frozen in time, during a beautiful, specific moment that you'll never relive again.
These moments are where I draw inspiration for my photography, as it want you to have an eternal record of the magical moments in your life.

FACTS ABOUT ME
- I'm constantly trying to make people laugh and have fun. I wasn't the class clown, but definitely the social butterfly.
- My favourite food is crisps. It's an addiction. Monster Munch Flaming Hot or Nice n' Spicy Nik Naks to be more specific.
- In my spare time, I play playstation. I had my first PS1 at 5 years old and I've never been without one!
- I'm a homebird and I hate plane travel. Not because I'm scared, but because I did too much of it as a child! I'll only do it for an epic holiday or an amazing destination wedding!
- I can wiggle one ear, and raise one eyebrow. It's a boring party trick
