The River Don gracefully meanders through, creating a vibrant habitat where observant eyes might spot trout or the flash of a kingfisher. Its well-groomed landscape features a rich biodiversity of trees, with an array of old pines, sequoias, and firs contributing to its serene atmosphere.

What to Wear?

Follow my advice for the best outfit choice for your sessions

Congratulations on your engagement! It’s such an exciting time, and your photos should really reflect that connection without any distractions. To make sure we get the best results, here is a quick guide on what to wear for our shoot:

Prioritize Comfort & Simplicity

Try to avoid clothing that wrinkles easily or requires constant adjusting. Your comfort is the most important thing—if you feel relaxed, it will show in your photos. These images are about the connection between the two of you, so simple outfits always work best.

Stick to Solid Colors

I recommend wearing solid colors and no prints. Busy patterns can be distracting; keeping your outfits simple ensures the focus remains entirely on your chemistry and keeps the photos looking timeless.

The Ideal Palette

To match my photography style of neutral and earthy tones, I recommend:

  • Whites and Creams

  • Browns and Tans

  • Black or Deep Neutrals

  • Earthy Tones (like olive, terracotta, or slate)

Avoid Text and Branding

Please try not to wear clothes with words, logos, or heavy branding. Our eyes are naturally drawn to text in a photograph, which pulls attention away from your faces and the emotion of the moment.

Pro-Tip: Bring a Backup

You are more than welcome to bring your outfits with you and change once you arrive! This helps keep your clothes crisp, clean, and wrinkle-free for the start of our session.
