Sandburn Hall Wedding Photography | Laura and Jack

I’m still shaking the confetti out of my camera bags after Thursday’s wedding at Sandburn Hall, and honestly, I’m not even mad about it. Laura and Jack picked a total gem of a venue in York—it’s got those massive windows and rustic beams that make my job way too easy. The weather gods were clearly on the guest list too, because we had wall-to-wall sunshine from the second I arrived. The morning was a total buzz, with Laura and her bridesmaids taking over one side of the site and Jack and his groomsmen holding it down on the other. No stressful travel, no frantic phone calls—just a perfectly chilled start to the day.

After a stunning ceremony, everyone spilled out for cocktails in the sun, which felt more like a summer garden party than a formal wedding. One of the highlights had to be the music quiz they ran during the meal; it’s a bold move that definitely kept everyone on their toes between the emotional speeches. We managed to sneak away for some truly epic golden hour photos before the first dance kicked off a party that showed no signs of slowing down. It was one of those rare "zero-stress, all-fun" days where everything just clicked into place, and I’m so stoked I was there to catch it all.
