Mini sessions are my favourite type of family session. They are super fun, super quick and easy for both me and the families! Because let's be honest- what toddler or dad wants to smile at the camera for more than 30 minutes? Not very many!
With Weddings and Newborns as my primary market, I'm so glad I can fit in a lot more family sessions this way, as this is the only way I can fit in families into my crazy schedule. If you've ever done a mini session with me, or are considering booking- here is the update on what's next!
Whats New?
With my dairy filling up quickly with newborns and weddings, I have limited time to dedicate to family photoshoots. I used to be able to offer cake smashes and full family photo sessions for £150, but these were not cost affective for both families and me! So I've made the decision to continue the mini sessions, on a seasonal basis. What does this mean? It means I will offer them a few times a year, depending on the season. So for example, I will offer a spring, summer, autumn and winter date, where you can hop on and book your timeslot. What are Mini Photo Sessions?
They are exactly that- mini photoshoots for you and your loved ones. They are a great way to get beautiful family portraits without the time and expense of a full session. They are just 25 minutes long, in a specific location. Just turn up, say hello, smile and be photographed! Of course, I will guide you through it all. Pose you and your family, as well as snap some candid moments too.
What's Included in a Photo Mini Session?
Depends on what I'm offering at the time, but typically it will involve:
25 Minute Session
15 Edited High-Resolution Digital Images
Online Photo Gallery
1 Location
AM and PM times available
Location will change depending on your choice
Dogs allowed
How Much Do Mini Photo Sessions Cost?
My price will vary depending on the season, but most likely they are between 40-50% of my full photosession price. So for example, in August 2021, a full photosession is £150 but a mini session fee is just £55. A Christmas Mini session however, which requires more planning and work, will cost around £75.
The Small Print
Please be on time! PLEASE! I schedule sessions back to back, so if you are late, your time will be reduced into your slot. I cannot offer reschedules on the day.
Only 6 people in your group at this price. For those with larger families, each additional person is £10 up to a max of 12 people.
In case of bad weather, I will reserve the right to change the date, location or time or place to give us the best photos. In the instance that the new time isn't available, a full refund will be offered.
Payment is due before the session, upon booking. This is done directly via the booking website, and can be done by card or paypal.
What Should I Wear for a Mini Photo Session?
I will be sending out guides when you book, as the outfit recommendation will vary on the season. So for example, I will recommend a different colour palette for spring compared to winter mini sessions.
How do I book a Mini Photo Session?
I will open bookings via my website when the dates have been finalised and selected by me! These are booked on a first come, first served basis and I cannot guarantee a specific timeslot. I've met a lot of you via these mini sessions, and I'm so glad I did. I've watched your family grow in size and numbers, and it's honestly I love that I can shoot and edit these sessions all in one go instead of trying to fit you all in on different dates.
