Alice and Jack said their vows in an outdoor ceremony at Lower Damgate Farm, an epic animal sanctuary located in the peak district. The venue boasts stunning views of rolling green fields and a cosy but spacious barn, beautifully decorated with hanging fairy lights. Onsite accommodation is available and that's where I started my day with Alice doing some bridal prep with her gorgeous bridesmaids. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles from her close friends and family, who are all as lovely as the bride and groom themselves. I knew this would be a calm chill day, filled with many hugs and laughter- and that's exactly how it went!
I'm kinda sad that this wedding has been and gone, because I've been with Alice and Jack since the beginning of their wedding journey. I first met them back in 2020 thanks to Covid as I was running doorstep photos for charity (what an odd time!) and I had the pleasure to photograph them for the very first time outside their home in their dressing gowns! After that, I've had two other sessions with them, so by the time the wedding day came around it was like photographing my own friends.
