Hodsock Priory Wedding – Martina & Tommo’s Beautiful, Laid-Back Day with BBQs and Family Vibes

Martina and Tommo’s wedding at Hodsock Priory was the perfect mix of relaxed and beautiful. The setting really speaks for itself. It’s such a stunning venue, with proper wow-factor, but still feels welcoming and warm. And that’s exactly how their day felt too.

They’ve got six kids between them, so the day was always going to be full of personality. But rather than going down the traditional route, they planned something that felt really true to them. The ceremony didn’t start until 4pm, which meant the morning had a really calm, lovely pace. Martina got ready at the venue with her two bridesmaids and mums, and it was just full of laughter and those quiet emotional moments before everything kicks off.

Their ceremony was held inside and made even more special with Martina’s cousin stepping in as celebrant. After that, we took some family photos in the gardens before heading out onto the terrace for a relaxed BBQ. No seating plan, no wedding breakfast, just everyone grabbing a drink, loading up their plate and settling in wherever felt right.

The speeches happened outside too, with that golden evening light making everything feel a bit dreamy. Once the sun started to dip, it was time to hit the dancefloor and properly celebrate. The energy was brilliant and it felt like the perfect way to round off such a personal and heartfelt day.
