Beth and Matt’s wedding at Danby Castle was honestly the best day ever from start to finish! You already know how much I love shooting at the castle—those historic ruins and rolling Yorkshire views are always stunning, and it was the absolute perfect backdrop for these two. The weather was a bit of a wild ride with the rain and wind stopping and starting all day, but it didn't damp any spirits at all. A massive highlight was definitely when their gorgeous dog Walter made a special appearance for some photos—he was such a little star and completely melted everyone's hearts!
Despite the crazy weather, the energy was unmatched and it was just a proper good party all round. After a lovely ceremony and plenty of laughs with their guests, they headed inside for their first dance to kick off the evening. Right after, the clouds finally cleared and we lucked out with the most incredible golden hour, sneaking outside to grab some stunning, glowy portraits on the grounds. It was just a seamless, beautiful day for a top-tier couple, and I’m so happy I got to capture it all for them! ✨
