Rainy Wedding Days

Did you know, Rain on your wedding day is considered good luck?

This is one of the biggest concerns that I hear from my couples 'What if it rains on our day', especially if the location that you've chosen features a stunning outdoor area.   The hard truth is, we have to just embrace it - if it's going to happen, it's going to happen.  Of all the stresses that you'll be facing, please don't let rain on your wedding day be one of them.

As your photographer, I'll do everything in my power to work with you to achieve the photographs that you want, whether that's quickly getting out under an umbrella for 10 minutes, or keeping a watchful eye for a 15-minute gap in the rain.  Please don't worry about rain on your wedding day.

Umbrellas

Having an umbrella to hand 'just in case' will always be a good decision.  You could also consider getting a few for your bridal party and matching them to your wedding colours.

Waterproof your look

If rain is forecast, have a conversation with your glam squad beforehand so they can make sure to waterproof your hair and makeup.  Setting sprays and weatherproof hair sprays can be your best friend.

Embrace It

At the end of the day, if it's going to rain, no amount of worrying will stop it, so the best advice I can give is to stay positive and do your best to embrace it.
