I'm always thrilled to be back at this stunning venue! Stretton Manor Barn is an exclusive wedding venue set within Derbyshire. With its traditional stonework, yet purposely built in 2020, it's a modern-day, one-of-a-kind type of wedding location, perfect for any wedding. Alex and Luke chose to wed here this April 2023 and they brought energy, party vibes and so much fun and laughter to their big day!
Unfortunately, it was the wettest and rainiest wedding day I've ever worked at. I often get asked, "What if it rains on my wedding day?" and I often reply, "Oh you know, when it stops for a bit, we will do the portraits". But for once, this was NOT the case. From midday all the way through 10 pm, the heavens poured down throughout- but after a few wines and a bit of courage, the bride, groom, and their epic bridal team braved the rain, adorned with umbrellas and champagne, and posed for some of my most incredible wedding pictures yet!
Alex and Luke, thank you so much for having me as your photographer for your wedding day. I am truly honoured and you guys set the bar HIGH! I'm still recovering, but I honestly could do it all again in a heartbeat. Here's to your forever after, and enjoy your sneak peaks.
