You honestly haven’t seen a Monday look this good until you’ve seen Sophie and James’s wedding at Howsham Hall. The venue is a total architectural dream, but the vibe was surprisingly low-key and super relaxed. Sophie was the ultimate "organized-meets-sweetheart" bride, prepping with her girls in that absolutely epic bridal suite. There wasn't a dry eye in the house during her emotional first look with the bridesmaids and her dad right on that grand staircase—it was one of those moments that makes you remember why I love this job. James was the perfect counterpart, keeping things totally chill and calm as the anchor to the whole day.
The weather actually played along too, giving us a perfect light breeze that made the couple's portraits outside the house look like something out of a magazine. After we knocked out the family photos, the energy shifted into some seriously heartfelt speeches during the wedding breakfast that had everyone reaching for the napkins. But the real showstopper? Their first dance. Sophie and James pulled off a routine that had the whole room gasping in delight! It was the smoothest, most joy-filled day, and I’m still buzzing that I got to be the one behind the lens for it.
