You’d never guess from the photos just how hot it was on Aimee & James’s wedding day at Sheffield Manor Lodge. I mean, proper scorching. But somehow, everyone looked effortlessly amazing – even the lads in full suits didn’t break a sweat (or if they did, they hid it very well).
This whole day was one big laid-back celebration. No sit-down meal, no formal speeches, just good food, good people, and good vibes all round. Guests grabbed a slice from the pizza oven, found themselves a seat, and cracked on with enjoying the sunshine. With nine bridesmaids and seven groomsmen, there was plenty of energy, and every single guest brought the loveliest, friendly atmosphere.
As the sun started to dip, we snuck off for the dreamiest golden hour portraits – and let me tell you, they are stunning. The evening brought even more fun, with the dancefloor packed despite the heat. You’d think the weather might’ve slowed people down, but not this lot.
All in all, a properly joyful day with a couple who did things their own way – and it totally paid off.
