What a day! Last Saturday we were back at the stunning Bunny Hill Weddings for Aimee and Jacob’s big day, and honestly, that venue never misses. Between the gorgeous views outside and the chic interior, it’s a photographer's dream. I had Lewis second shooting with me and my husband Alistair on video, so the "dream team" was out in full force to capture every bit of the madness.
The morning was a total whirlwind of laughter and some seriously emotional surprises while Aimee got ready with her girls on-site. Meanwhile, Jacob was keeping things steady with his dad and the lads before a beautiful ceremony inside. It was a classic, chilly March day, but the cloud cover gave us that perfect soft light—and let’s be honest, the brisk air was the perfect excuse for everyone to huddle together and get the party started early!
The speeches were a total highlight, swinging from hilarious stories to some real tear-jerker moments that had the whole room hooked. Once the sun went down, we braved the cold for an epic sparkler tunnel before the reception went into overdrive. Aimee and Jacob absolutely smashed a choreographed first dance routine that put my wedding shuffle to shame, and the dancefloor didn't empty for a second after that. It was a day full of surprises, genuine heart, and a lot of cold noses—definitely one we won’t forget in a hurry.
